What an extensive and diverse region to explore.  With a lot of very beautiful and accessible rambles on our doorstep.

We now have a new leader for our walking group - Tony is an experienced rambler and is looking to plan walks between 5 – 7 miles.  The first meeting of the group was in March and the current plan is for the group to meet on the 2^nd Friday of each month.  Initially, walks are to be based within the Merseyside region with the start and finish points accessed via public transport.  Planned start time, 10:30 am and as with any good walk, every effort will be made to finish near a point of refreshment.
